We loved the location of this hotel, so close to the train station and the beautiful South Downs ways. The kitchen in the lovely old farmhouse was great, offering us the chance to prepare our own meals. The atmosphere here was so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening by the cafe, surrounded by local paintings as part of the summer Art Trail. The prices were also very reasonable, making it the perfect place to stay.
This place is highly recommended to all.

I had a great stay at Yha South Downs. The location was perfect, right next to the train station, making it convenient for exploring the area. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. I also appreciated the abundance of plugs in the room, which is often lacking in other places. The staff were friendly and the facilities were kept very clean.
Even though there were a few drawbacks, such as limited breakfast options and the windows not opening wide, they were minor issues that didn't significantly affect my overall experience.

We had an incredible stay at this tranquil and rural hotel conveniently situated near transportation. the location was perfect, as it was only a four-minute walk from the train station and close to the ferry port. the simplicity and rustic charm of the converted barns were superb, complete with a clean living environment and plenty of kitchen facilities. the staff provided wonderful service and even offered hot soup upon our arrival. the picturesque and serene landscape was truly rejuvenating.
The shower schedule was a bit odd and inconvenient.

I had an amazing stay at a converted farm building in the South Downs. The atmosphere was friendly and the surroundings were beautiful. The four bed dorm I stayed in was comfortable and spacious, with individual recharging stations for each bed. The breakfast offered a wide choice and was reasonably priced. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. Despite some road noise, I slept well and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. I had a great experience and would definitely consider returning in the future.

Situated next to Southease railway station, the location is convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. The pod accommodation provides a cozy and comfortable space, shielded from any noise. The friendly staff add a welcoming touch, and the on-site cafe is a convenient option.
The lack of kitchen access and limited self-catering facilities may be inconvenient for some guests.

I recently stayed at Yha South Downs for a short hiking trip. The staff welcomed me with genuine care and helpfulness. The hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located. The breakfast option is a must-have, as it is delicious and saves you the hassle of cooking and washing up. The atmosphere in the cafe is fantastic, and the artistic development of the old farmhouse building adds coziness. Staying in the pod was a unique experience, with the chance to see the stars and wake up to birdsong.
Would recommend this hotel.
